Bio
Dubbed a “Yooper” for being born in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Adam Whittington started his quest to entertain others the moment he could mutter a tune. In May of 2009, Adam released his first CD, entitled “Adam Whittington, To You”. Local radio stations were quick to pick up the tunes. One of the singles, “Get Gone” was voted Upper Michigan’s favorite song of 2010. Meanwhile, the title song, “To You” placed number one on the Radio Café out of Detroit. Embraced and encouraged by fans, it became obvious that this “Yooper” was going places Adam has left Michigan and traveled to California to pursue his motto to “dream big and live it”. Listeners are giving amazing feedback for his latest single releases, which include, "Make The World Love Again." It recently went to #1 on The Radio Cafe - Reverbnation Worldwide Chart for 3 weeks in a row. Adam has been working on new songs with LA producers and working on his acting career. He has been performing in S. California as well as touring around the Nation. You can also be watching for Adam at the Los Angeles MLB Angels games, as he is being scheduled to sing the National Anthem for the 2012 season.

"I had an amazing time being part of Youth Theatre when I was younger and especially when I played the part of Troy Bolten in the Disney's "High School Musical" sponsored by Nikke Nason; MACC and the Kaufman Auditorium. It was quite a growing experience for me and it was awesome being part of three sold out performances. I also put on one of my largest concerts at the Kaufman Auditorium in March of 2010. Sara Cambensy, Jim Pennel, Nikke Nason, NMU PRSSA, Jill Grundstrum, Q107-WMQT, local dance teams and many other staff and volunteers helped make that my most outstanding concerts and experiences in the Upper Peninsula that I've had so far. I will always be thankful to the Kaufman Auditorium and Youth Theatre for helping me gain a greater confidence towards my career in singing and acting." ~Adam Whittington
